# Tailored Charts for Tasks

The chart view allows you to manage charts more efficiently by saving specific datapoint and time peroid settings directly within a task, making them accessible at any time.

### Select an analysis result and edit chart view

-   Navigate to **Optimization -> Components**
-   Choose the **component** and **analysis** result for the chart view
-   Adjust the **datapoints** and **time period** according to your requirements

### Create a Task

After selecting an analysis result and adjusting your settings:

-   Click on **Add Task**
-   Give it a title and needed details
-   Click on **Create Task**
-   Your specific selection for the chart view is now saved with the task

### View Saved Task Chart

-   Go to **Optimization -> Checklist**, where all tasks are stored
-   Find the newly created task and click on **Details**
-   Click on **Datapoints** to view the saved chart

### Further Edit and Save

-   You can edit your settings further by changing the datapoints selection or time period.
-   Click on **Save Chart** to save the edited chart in the task.

This workflow allows you to create, customize, and save task-specific charts, enabling efficient management of relevant datapoints whenever needed.
